When people say that they are not ready for something, they may be telling themselves that they don’t have all of the skills required or that they don’t know enough about certain things to make them happen. However, when people say that they are not ready for something, they are often giving themselves excuses not to take action on their dreams and goals because of fear of failure or lack of knowledge about specific skills needed. Those who have failed at something before still have hope that they can achieve what they want if given a chance again.

The fact is that many great people have had many failures before them and yet became what we now know as great leaders, inventors, scientists, musicians, etc. The best way to prepare yourself for what is possible for you is by believing in your dreams and goals fervently enough so that you will act on them even if it is difficult at first. If you feel like giving up when things get tough or if you think you can’t do it, don’t give up! Those who succeed were those who kept trying until they accomplished their goals or dreams despite all odds against them. These words remind us that the best time is now! There is always someone out there with a dream or goal just like yours…. And if he/she succeeds, why not YOU? Don’t wait until later; act now!
